Subterranean termites in a 1962 crawlspace
West Ashley, 1962 brick ranch, 1,850 sq ft, 2 visits, 9 days, $1,480

BEFORE

AFTER
THE PROBLEM
The owners found mud tubes on a crawlspace pier while a duct was being replaced. Nobody had seen a swarm, and the house had gone without a bond since the previous owner let it lapse in 2019.
WHAT WE DID
Lamar inspected the crawlspace and the attic the next morning and found active tubes on four piers and a soft sill plate under the back bath. We trenched and treated the whole foundation with a non-repellent liquid, drilled the front stoop and emailed a diagram with every sign marked.
RESULT
No live termites at the 30-day check or at the one-year renewal. Final invoice $1,480, as quoted. The sill repair went to a carpenter the owners chose, and the house now carries a renewable bond.
